elliptical gilgai

elliptical gilgai
A type of gilgai dominated by elliptical, closed and semi-closed depressions (microlows) separated by low mounds or ridges (microhighs); the prevailing type of gilgai on mildly sloping terrain (slopes 3 – 8 %); as slope increases, basins become more eccentric and the occurrence of interconnected micro-lows increases.
