sorted circle
   A type of patterned ground whose mesh (shape) is largely circular and has a sorted appearance commonly due to a border of rock fragments surrounding finer material, occurring either singly or in groups. Diameters range from a few centimeters to more than 10 meters. The rock fragment border may be 35 cm high and 8 to 12 cm wide.
